40-Hour Medical Interpreter Training Program

A structured, forty-hour professional program covering the core competencies of healthcare interpreting: role and ethics, standards of practice, medical terminology and body systems, interpreting protocols and modes, cultural mediation, patient safety and confidentiality, and supervised practice scenarios. Participants progress module by module with knowledge checks and a final competency assessment. Successful completion establishes eligibility for the LGP 40-Hour Medical Interpreter Training credential, subject to administrative issuance.
